I was cleaning the left front drain. When I put my finger straight down and it seemed clogged still. I didn't realize the water went down and was diverted toward the front. I thought the grommet was like a cap. I pulled it off and it was actually part of the hose. The hose has now broken off and has fallen away from the hole. I am assuming I need it replace the hose. Anybody ever done this? How should I go about this?

Sometime I can't stand myself.

I bought the drain hole screens from Suncoast sometime ago. Clean holes and apply the screens. Will work great if the car stays outside.

I know the boxster has drainage plugs. Are these easy to access and clean? My local dealer mentioned a service they provide to prevent problems, but if possible I'd prefer to handle myself.

Also, has anyone else paid a dealer for this type service?

Nikki,
I had this done at the dealer. They charge me $100. At that time I never heard about this until the dealer did the work and charged me without notifying me first. They said some porsche owners had flooded their cars so I paid them and then did research myself afterwards.
