A few photos from Mt Equinox
It was a great trip!
Rey and I wondered, due to traffic issues the last 2 years, maybe Mt Equinox should be scheduled during non-peak leaf peeping season...any thoughts?
Our first meeting point...

yea! We made it to the top of Mt Equinox.
The first run up was fairly obstacle free. The other runs....not so fortunate....

an obstacle....
around the corner, outside the view of this photo....this is when we're glad we have Porsche brakes Kevin-the-slow came around the corner to find a woman parked in the road, and standing in the road to take a photo! She's still around to tell the tale because of Porsche brakes.

What else is there to do but to take pix when sitting still in traffic? Explain why there's a traffic light here? There were virtually no cars going in the other direction, and yet we waited 20 minutes to get through the light.
Maybe the sign says it all.....?

I had a great drive with all of you! Thanks to Rey and Juliette for the planning and organizing the drive. A LONG day, but well worth it. Nice pics (mine are no different).
To answer your question: I vote for a time in the middle part of September before peak foliage. You also get to leave the top down
