DIY: Coolant Change

Thank you, I need to do this as well. Seeing the fight you had with the hose, I think I'll plan on cutting and replacing that damn hose.

Having the right tools is key. The pressure kit and air pump are tools I don't have. Considering I don't change the coolant often as in oil changes I'd weight the costs of time, tools, and coolant with having the dealership do it.

This is true. Some people fill it without the vacuum system, but it's a lot harder to get the air out of the system that way.

Plus, anytime I find an excuse to buy a new tool I usually justify it :D
