Now iv painted my release catches
Hi Caps
While I'm on a roll I thought id paint my badly scuffed release catches here are some before, during and after picshttp://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1499772710.jpg |
during
After carefully masking and flatting them off, I gave them 2 coats of high build primer
then 2 coats of silver then 2 coats of 2 pack clearhttp://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1499772915.jpg |
After
Here they are all done, I very slightly marked one with my nail demising but its not bad
Im a graphic designer so Have redrawn the icons and my mate who has a vinyl company will make the stickers for me to apply All in all an easy job, masking was the tricks bit. At the same time I'm getting new transfers made for the calliper repaint (next job)http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1499773232.jpg |

But the hold-up had been the duplication of the pictures. So if your mate could make a spare set of decals, I'd be keen to get some also. Can do? Thanks - DM |

Forgot I hadn't posters a picture with the decals on
Iv made it slightly thicker as is was thinner than the parameters of the vinyl cutter but I think it looks stock. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1500305451.jpg |
I need to do this! My black sills are scuffed as well.
