glovebox retrofit

anyone ever try to add a glovebox to a pre 2003?

Add a glovebox?
This requires replacing the entire dashboard with one from a 2003 or 2004 car.
Big job? Yes.
Overly difficult? Not so much.

I believe that the dashboard support beam also needs to be replaced, as well, since it was changed to allow fitment.
