Headlight Removal
Quick question:
I need to remove my headlight but do not have the actual 986 headlight tool. Does any have a recommendation on what I could use in place of that? size, hex key, etc???? I need something that I can pick up at Lowes, Auto Zone, etc. Thanks! |
Its a 4 or 5mm socket. Just put it on an extension and use a ratchet.

time to get creative....
If it's a real concern to you (as it should be after having happened once),
I'd open the wheel well liner and attach something to the back of the light from there... I did that to connect my wire plug (since it's cracked and will not plug in on it's own.) good luck. matt |
The replacing of my burned out low beam bulb was ridiculous easy. I think it makes up for the process to change the engine air filter. Maybe not....
