Durametric Alarm Fault I32
I had a fault that was preventing the car from starting. Consequently, the radio will not work, neither will the starter motor. This shows up as a code 25 in the alarm section of Durametric. The code itself will look something like this:
Alarm I32 25: W Lead This W lead is fuse E1, which controls a large amount of electronics in the car that will cut out if the fuse is gone. Took me a lot of investigation and hassle to find it, hopefully this can help someone else out in the same situation. |
Cornontherob - Thanks for posting this. I am having an issue with fuse E1. While driving I will get the airbag warn light and a rollover protection warning (I have a 996 cluster). Once the car is turned off it will not restart. I have replaced the E1 fuse twice now and it has blown twice after a short drive. Did you figure out what was causing your fault? TIA

After reading a ton of different postings the reoccurring theme was a wire being grounded. The only thing I have touched in the car in months is the radio. I took the radio out and cleaned things up a little. At one time I had a double din in there and went back to the stock CDR-220. I have left the radio out and put 100 miles on the car without any more issues. We'll see if that is it. Again, thanks for the follow up. |
