How to remove/replace retractable wing motor
Hello!
I am in a bit of a bind, and looking for help: The electric motor driving the rear retractable wing on my 1997 Boxter is dead, and I need to replace it. I got a working replacement motor, but I can't seem to figure out how to dis-assemble the existing wing so I can remove and then replace the motor. I have searched for some info far and wide, to no avail. Any pointers are greatly appreciated. |

You'll get more responses by posting in the correct forum.
http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/ This forum is for DIY Project Guides. In other words, "If you have a DIY Project Guide, post it here", not "if you are trying to DIY a project and have a question, post it here". ;) The answer to your misplaced question: get a Bentley repair manual. They are invaluable if you do your own repairs. I'm not going to give you a more in-depth answer because that would just be enabling your bad behavior. :p |
