Turn signal broken

Hello all,

My turn signal doesn't reset anymore, so I know it's time to replace it. Question is, I have cruise control; do I have to replace the entire 3 stalk component, or can I just change the turn signal. If I have to replace the entire thing, can I buy a 2 stalk and move the cruise control stalk over?

Thanks in advance.

Tony

Best guess...it looks like the 3 stalk unit comes as a single part. Perhaps you can disassemble it in put in a stalk from a used unit.

If you're going for a low price, you might try sourcing complete unit from a dismantler. Otherwise, they can be had online for about $250.

I'm new to 986 forum, but have had my Boxster for about 4.5 years. This post brought back memories! When I first got my car this was one of the first things I had to change. Unfortunately, I had to replace the entire stalk. Here's the DIY video that I followed step by step and did it with virtually no problems. It was actually easier than I anticipated.

I bought the part on line for about $180 if my memory serves me correctly. Original Porsche, of course. I did end up with an light on the dash afterwards, but had a shop reset the light for me.
