Retrofit Cruise Control

Anyone got any knowledge on retrofitting a Cruse Control to a 00 2.7 EGas engine?

986 cruise control

I did this on a 2000 986S and think the same procedure would work for a 2.7
I followed the excellent articles by Yoseif Whiteson via Whiteson.org but I cannot still access these original articles. Suggest try the articles in Pelican Parts. Not as detailed but the basis are the same. The connectors are not expensive but you will need to replace your existing 3 stalk control under the steering wheel with a 4 stalk control unit. I have just started working on an article for the PCWA website and will provide more info in this. For those with reasonable very low voltage electrical skills this is a pretty straightforward task.

So I actually went out and bought an OEM 4 stalk. Is there any wire splicing I'll need to do so that I can include the trip computer / computer controls? I already have a care with cruise control, but no computer currently. FWIW, I can see the temperature displayed on my dashboard, so I know the computer is turned on.
