Wheels on a boxster, will these fit?

Hi guys,

New to porsche and forum, was wondering if I could get some help.

I have a set of 4 lenzo samurai wheels (black five spoke) that I had on an Audi a3. Will these fit on a 03 boxster 2.7?

I fear maybe the rear wheels are wider than the front. Also an tips on why I should or shouldn't put them on is appreciated, I'm expecting they are not suitable and need to sell them and get something else.

Also, just a quicky, how can I tell what head units will work with the Bose system in the same car?

Thanks very much, my word these cars are good fun !

Hey, welcome! Running a staggered set up is pretty common (Wider wheels in the rear than in the front). The wheels from the A3 will not fit the Boxster unfortunately. Your bolt pattern on the Audi is 5x112 and the majority of Porsche's bolt patterns are 5x130. You can however run adapters to make them fit although I wouldn't recommend it. It puts more stress on the hub/wheel bearing. I wouldn't track the car with adapters but they should be more than okay for city driving.

Now how about some pictures of your car? :D

The 03 & 04 Boxsters have the MOST bus for the audio system. It is a fiber optic bus, so you probably will not find a head unit that will work. You will need to put in a new amp

jay, would a new amp get past the bus issue? Thanks

Yes, you will have to use a new amp if you change the head unit
