Fix for loose center caps

I picked up a set of 17x6.5 Cayman wheels for winter use, and noticed that the center caps were loose enough that they seemed like they could fall out, and two of them had broken tabs.. I suspect that these might be aftermarket caps.

Here's the solution I came up with such that they are now stable, but should be easy to remove for future mounting/balancing.

I had to rotate them a little to get them seated all the way, but they are solidly in place now.

Stick a rubber band on it. Great fix
A better fix is to heat the tabs slightly and bend them outward, as posted many, many times.

Thanks Christi. We'll see how they work. I figured if the plastic was already brittle it this might be a better solution than heating.

Very ingenious. The plastic on these cars can get brittle, I just broke a couple of tabs of a connector in the engine compartment and I barely touched it.
