Ignition sticking

Starting to notice the ignition is getting harder to turn every time I put the key in. Already did the key lube trick, was working ok but now seems harder to turn. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for this?

What RawleyD said. You need to replace the electrical portion of your ignition switch. There are numerous helpful posts on this topic. Here's one I started; read it all the way through for how to DIY two different ways: http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/46411-ignition-switch-replacement-holy-crap.html

right after I got my car I was a the car wash. when I went to start it again the key would not move to the start position. ended up being the steering wheel was turned to hard. turned it a little to release the tension and the key turned not problem. I think most cars will do this, but the boxster seems to be particularly prone to it.
