Radio LED change.

Well got my climate control changed over so I decided to make my stock radio match.

Took the front cover off only to find 60, that's right 60 leds!

I thought what the heck! I've got more then enough so I started!

This is a picture of all 59 LEDs installed I have one remaining!

Now here it is, as far as I know the worlds only factory blue 986 stereo! LOL!

For some reason the picture came out dark. The radio looks great and matches my switches and climate control. I've ordered some side facing LEDs to change out for the radio buttons. But now on to the gauge cluster. I'm gonna order them as I"m all soldered out!!

Good work! I love my all blue interior! Don't forget the rocker switches, headlight switch, ashtray, and cigarette lighter

Edit: just saw on your key thread that you did at least one switch...fun stuff, eh? Those blue LEDs are tiny! Well worth the effort, though!

Well..I'm considering doing the Climate controls for people on an exchange basis. If I can get enough interest. Not sure on cost yet. If I had to guess I'd say around $100 or so.
