Convertible top drive mechanism repair

Top broke. Anybody have any experience that would know some tips to get access to where the green arrow is? The pivot ball pin came unscrewed and whatever pushes onto it is broken.

Both parts are commonly available from Porsche or specialists. The arms withe the red boot are usually sold complete (£50 each in the UK), but there is a seller in Holland that sells just the boot for £20 per pair)

There are loads of roof repair guides on here, search in Technical as the issues you have are common.
Is the other side the same? To refit the red boot, its visible from the side of the car as it mounts on the side of the roll bar.
