Think I just found my project for the weekend. Dash is going to get wrapped in suede.

Thank You Meir for the write up on removing the heater core, mine is totally corroded. Fairly easy to do with the photos. Thanks again

Mine keeps fading... |
Can anyone comment on how long this procedure takes? I need to get my dash recovered and the recommended upholstery shop will not work on it in the car. They will do it if I bring it to them.
Also, does everything need to be removed? Thanks in advance. |

not sure if i understand what you mean by "does everything need to be removed?" |

So 2 - 4 hours to remove and then another 2 - 4 hours to put back? Thanks for this fantastic writeup! John |

the whole project took me about 12 hours net, but that includes the heater core removal and the ac air box/evaporator replacement. also taking pictures and figuring out what to do took some time. |
Cheers! If you are ever in the Bham area, I have a few beers for you

Damn, I'm not removing my dashboard anytime soon, but there are so many other little items I may remove/replace and this write up give great insight into all of them.
Outstanding Meir! |
Does anyone still have this DIY guide somewhere? I updated my old iPad and lost it 😢
