Fuel Pressure Regulator

I am looking for information on the removal of the fuel pressure regulator for a 2001 base boxster. I have the bentley book as well as wayne's book and am having a difficult time get the regulator out. I took the C/U clip that is holding the regulator in place out which was easy enough but am having a hell of a time getting the regulator itself out. I have tried twisting, wiggling and so on to no avail. Has anyone had experience with this? Would WD-40 likely help? Thanks:confused:

The spring clip is the only thing holding it in (item #7); once the clip is out, try twisting and rocking it a bit, it will come loose.
