I'm looking to install these professionally tinted mirror finish lights to my black porsche boxster. Has someone done this before would the light bulbs need replacing to xenon/LED?

Thanks in advance

Professional installation? The lights are incredibly easy to install. As a matter of fact, they are plug and play.

It's so easy a child could do it. But please, do a search first for future questions.

Apologies some grammar confusion, i meant the lights have been professionally tinted.
I have no problem installing these lights. I'm just wondering if anyone has previously installed black lights and what kind of bulbs would be required to shine through as these are casings only.

Why not just pop them in and see what the results are with the stock bulbs? Then you'll have your answer!

Or just get some cheap, dark tint and try it out on the stock setup that is (presumably) currently on your car...

I'm not sure I understand why anyone would diminish the effectiveness of their lights

I like the black look but I agree with some others, they are TOO BLACK. The part I find funny is that the light that probably means the least is not blacked out (reverse lights) :D

Again, I like the LOOK, but wouldnt want to attract more attention via the Police with these.
