LCD HVAC Display Replacement
About a year ago I purchased a replacement for my HVAC LCD display I was getting the ol' half moon rising effect and a couple of the blocks for the fan speed were out. Well today I finally got around to replacing it.
I am not very secure working on electronics but this was pretty easy. Just gotta take your time. The directions and photos are easy to follow. It looks great. I bought my replacement display from a company called Module Master for about $54. Seems like a lot of money for a little piece of glass, but I guess there is other stuff in there too. Any who if you are experiencing the dreaded display moon. It is a pretty simple and rewarding DYI. |
Cool. I need to do this myself. I have had that display issue for a few years. Can you post some pics please?

I did not take any before pics, but if you already have the half moon you know what it looks like. Here are some after pics.

Nice. Looks like I have to replace my AOS so this may have to be on hold. Maybe I should do both at the same time though. I guess its only $50 right??
