will this bi-xenon projector fit?

This will not be an easy plug-n-play (pnp). I will have to cut/modify the reflector to fit this larger projector, then hide it with a shroud.

I'm going this route instead of a smaller pnp projector because I want the most controlled illumination possible.

I'll probably buy the kit from TRS Bi-xenon FX-R Stage III Kit - Complete Retrofit Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc unless someone knows a better vendor.

About 2 months ago, madmods posted a bi-xenon retrofit seen below. He didn't specify what kind of projector he used, but I'm assuming it was a smaller pnp. It looks nice and similar to the Mini H1 kit that TRS sells.

Any opinions would help before I pull the trigger and get out the hacksaw.

I should add that the reflector in my 04 is about 5.5" tall. The projector that I'll looking at is 100mm (~4") tall. Sounds doable unless I'm missing something.

What was your experience if you've tried to modify your headlights?

I think you just use the reflector off the old headlight right?

My question is how do you do your adjustments to the xenon?

For the projector shown, the reflector would have to be cut, and the projector bolted or JB welded or both to the reflector.

By "adjustments" I assume you mean aiming the light. The adjustment moves the reflector, so as long as you don't affect that system it shouldn't be a problem.

This should be a better system (for light performance) than litronics because a bi-zenon projector uses the entire light potential on high beam vs just half the projector with litronics.
