Others may disagree, however, I've had nothing but horrific results trying to use the auxiliary output on the oem radio; especially with one of those cheap eBay knock-off cables . When the vehicle is not running, shunting can occur with regard to electrical/power supply . On three separate occasions, this irreparably harmed 3 of my ipods . You're better off investing in a good quality aftermarket head unit that will provide you with a stable interface .
