I have a shop manual that says you have the cylinder numbering correct. Standing at the rear of the vehicle and looking forward, odd on the right (1,3,5 from front to back) even on the left (2,4,6).

Your cylinder placement is correct and the firing order for the boxster is 1-6-2-4-3-5
