Brake light Switch Replacement

Has anyone got any tips on getting the switch back in. What a PITA. You need to be a 2'6" contortionist to get to this switch.

When I replaced mine I swiped the plastic tabs with some large grit sandpaper a couple times. Went right in and stayed tight.

Tell me about it. I'm 5'11" & not as slim as I used to be. The footwell outlet for the heat obscures easy access. I manage about 5 mins before by back cramps up & I have to try & wiggle my way out.

Where is a skinny teenager when you need them?
