Pros/Cons of oil removal
 

It would be much easier to replace the oil by just pumping it out the dip stick hole. What are the negatives for this?

I think that method would take forever. When my car was over filled I tried pulling out a quart from the tube but I couldn't actually get it working. It never got deep enough andwas getting stuck on something so I don't think it's actually possible.

OK what about from the oil fill tube
 

OK how about pumping the oil from the oil reservoir tank. Admittedly this would not get much sludge buildup but then I thought Mobil 1 doesn't have any sludge buildup if you change the oil frequently say every 7 thousand miles.

Maybe I could alternate with the drain plug standard. Anything to make life easier.

I bought an oil evacuator and don't use it any more.

If you can get to the bottom of the car OK, the evacuator ends up being a bigger pain to use.

Save your money.

Some countries do not permit oil to be drained. Politically motivated, not mechanically. Like 20k oil changes.

Be glad you can drain and just be sure you let warm oil drain long enuf. I once got tired of waiting for the dribbles to cease and put a beer can underneath. Next morning I had a small mess to clean up.
