Plate Lights Not Working on Boxster S

The plate lights on my 2000 Boxster S are not working and it's not the fuse or the bulbs. Anyone have any thoughts to fix the problem??? Thanks!!

I had the same problem recently, mine turned out to be the sping clips that hold the bulb in place, the clips slide into grooves either side of the lens,in my case the plastic had degraded making the clips loose on the bulb and stopping continuity of the circuit.

Worth a look!

Chris.

Usually the light switch, the dash lights are connected to the same circuit - do they work?

sorry to resurrect this but If this happens to be an issue still then I may know the problem !

My Boxster had the same fault, turned out that when the last garage to work on it had the rear bumper off to do a clutch they had forgot to plug the number plate lamp loom back in !!

Simple fix that requires you to remove the rear bumper to correct :)
