986 -> 987 headlight conversion

I'm trying to find out what connector fits into a 987 headlight unit for a 986 -> 987 headlight conversion. It's a 12 way sealed connector. Anybody know how I can find this part ?

Thanks,
Alex

I believe a 987 headlight swap requires hood, fenders, fender liners, and bumper.

Z-Art put together a 986->987 conversion kit: http://www.z-art.biz/

S&B you are correct regading the other body mods but I'm just looking for the connector part number - Porsche or manufacturer/part#. Hoping maybe somebody has a schematic or can access a harness - Part # will probably be written on the connector mating half.

alex,

Just noticed the South Africa location. I'm no help on the connector, but someday you have to tell us about having a Porsche there.

And WELCOME!!!!

I can't help but think there isn't a Porsche part # for this. Perhaps a harness for the 986 plus a harness for the 987. Seems like a custom part.

Man, the parts list on this page from Z-art seems incomplete. Seems like they're not listing various mounting, stripping, and liners -let alone the lights.

Maybe that's why their photos lack quality or are small... so you can't see the details.

Trouble areas...

That flattened fender on the front and not in the rear kills me.
The filler around the fog light is odd too, or is it just me?

Hi there,
if you like to order those 12 pin plug send me an mail. But just the 987 headlight into a 986 fender will not work you will need a lot of modification. Make it easier an take that 997 GT3 Front all made from PU
