Best place for GPS antena
 

On the process to install the AVIC D/, I am lokkking for the place to install the GPS antena. Please let m eknow where youplaced yours. Photos if possible.

I have my XM under the cowl, works great but I installed an AVIC Z and put the antenna in the factory location under the trim by the alarm light on the dash.

I finally took a picture of where I put my GPS antenna. See attached.

I put it to the right of the cabin air filter under the plastic part that covers up the wipers. Simply drop it in and it will grab onto the metal. I've had no issues with the GPS reception and I like the stealth look.
