CD Removal Tool - Will this one work?

Hi All

Carlos was kind enough to point me in the right direction for a CD Removal Tool however the place I purchased it from has sent me another kind of tool which is much longer and thinner and does not have holes.

Will this one work on a Boxster 2001 to remove my CD player?
I tried it but they seem to just slip right through and not grab onto anything.

Any feedback welcome.

This is the tool Carlos recommended and the one I ordered!

don't think those will work. As you're finding, they are too skinny to grab the clips that hold the radio in place. They must have sent you the wrong ones. You might try going to a local stereo shop and see if you cna just borrow their's for a minute.

I have the ones in your first link and could not get them to work.

I also have the ones in your second link and they work.
