Two-Tone Seats?

Anyone have any experience using Leather paint/dye to Two-Tone interior seats? I'd love to add a silver insert on the seats, but dont want it to look like a pre-schooler did it. Any experience thoughts appreciated.

Thinking of using something like this:

I have not seen that used, but I would be very skeptical about it's results.

I'm not sure it's worth the risk. It could turn into a big mess. Or turn out good at first and then later on start to crack. Just buy some 2-tone seats on e-bay if you want that style so bad. They are out there. By the way, that paint is also sold through J.C.Whitney automotive.

BlackONblack, call JoAnne at www.colorplus.com. She may offer you some advice.

I did it about 4 years ago...

... but I used Leather Magic instead.

Initially I wanted just to repair wear and scuff marks and later it turned into a whole two-toning project.
My car was originally Graphite Gray leather, now, look for yourself...

I have an extra set of Savannah Beige seats that I would give to someone for just shipping, the drivers seat as 150k miles on it and has a rip in the seat portion the passenger seat has a few scuffs but is perfect otherwise. If someone wants to test these let me know. As I said they are free just pay shipping.

Seats are spoken for.
