very simple, I just replaced my driver's side(left here in US) mirror with an atmospheric one that has a blind spot eliminator.
I simply turned off the car gently wedged my fingers between the glass and the housing and gave it a yank. Don't pull too hard because there are two wires that connect to the back of mirror. The mirror will seperate and then unlug the wires.
I unplugged one wire and plugged it into the new mirror and then did the second wire so I wouldn't get them backwards. Once both are plugged in just push the new mirror into place. No tools required.
I might wear gloves if there is broken glass.

actually, they are flat.
the "Aspheric" part comes from the part of the glass that has a different aspect ratio on it.
look at this page.

The mirror housing itself is connected using three screws (one of which is hidden pretty well). The mirror itself is connected by two wires (which I believe are for grounding) and a clip on the far side of the housing relative to the car. To remove the mirror you just simply pull it out by pulling the side furthest from the car's A-pillar. The mirror's backing has a circular like clip pattern that goes around the mirrors circular platform to move it.
