2000 Porsche Boxster
About 68k miles with clean title in my name.
Current registration and will be smogged before sale.
Runs and drives well.
AC is cold. Heater is hot.
Mechanically in ok condition.
Cosmetically in ok condition.
Tires have lots of tread but are old and should be replaced.
Needs a top and has some broken parts in the opening mechanism.
Clearcoat is peeling but body is pretty straight. No major dings.
Car is silver with a black interior.
5 speed manual transmission shifts well.
2.7L 6 cylinder. No noises or smoke.
IMS has NOT been done.
At this price it comes with the following extra parts:
19" set of wheels with bad tires.
Also comes with a 3.2L six from a 2000 Boxster S.
Engine has been sitting for years and was told it ran but smoked.
IMS has been done on this engine. No guarantees on engine. As-is.
Also comes with original 5 speed transmisson. It worked fine but popped out/grinding in second gear only so I swapped it out with a good ebay transmission/new clutch.
Overall it is a decent running/driving project car.
I've had it for almost ten years but never really got around to fixing it up right.
It can be a daily driver with a weekend's work and a new set of tires if you're handy.
