Hey-I I've got a silver '99 Boxster with about 125,000 miles that needs a head gasket. It could also use new suspension bushings. Other than that, it works well. I even had the A/C recharged. Make me an offer.
P.S. You can still drive the car: For the moment it's only a small leak. It burns a little antifreeze. I'm in northern NJ. |

What were the symptoms? How do you know it's the head gasket? |

The above posters are correct, in all the years I've run the shop, we have never seen a head gasket failure, but we have seen a lot of cracked heads; simply because the steel head gaskets are stronger than the head or engine cases. It isn't a head gasket.............

Whatever the case, scottweins, it could be the head gasket or the entire head that needs replacing. |
