WTB: 2004 550 Edition TIP ONLY
 

Hi everyone,

I'm on the lookout for my holy grail Boxster: a 2004 550 Anniversary Edition, with a Tiptronic. Mileage isn't an issue, though good service history is an obvious plus. Would prefer the cocoa leather.

Budget up to $19k. I'm in Houston, Texas but would ship or come to drive it home if it's a 1-2 day drive.

With IMS fixed? FYI Recent one on Bring a Trailer (manual) with replacement 2005-2008 engine went for $26000.

Obviously, an updated IMS would be nice, but not necessary to me.

Saw that one on BaT. There was also a manual 550 near me (Austin area) for $18k that just sold.

hi Rob, i am thinking to sell mine, might be posting it on BAT in a few weeks. It has 24k miles, tiptronic, cocoa leather and with IMS done couple years ago, it is in pristine condition. I am looking to get more than your budget but if you are interested let me know and can share some pics as well.
