2003 Boxster S 6MT in SoCal

I'm selling my 2003 Porsche Boxster S, Seal Gray exterior, Graphite Gray interior, and black convertible top w/77k miles. The car is 100% stock/original, with no accidents per Carfax. I'm located in La Crescenta, CA (91214). Asking $11k or best offer.

This car is well-optioned from the factory with:
-Litronic (Xenon HID) headlights
-Porsche crest logo embossed into the seat headrests
-Wind deflector and honeycomb roll-hoop inserts to minimize wind noise
-Bose premium sound system (includes a slim-mount subwoofer behind the seats)
-Trip computer
-18" BBS lightweight 911 Carrera wheels

I've owned the car for the past year and a half. Prior to buying the car, it had an pre-purchase inspection done by a Porsche specialist. I immediately did all the recommended maintenance per the inspection after purchasing the car, including engine and transaxle oil change, brake fluid flush, 987 OEM engine mount, window regulators and door latch repair, and more. Since then, the car has been running great and has not needed anything other than basic maintenance. At present, the car needs nothing other than tires and an alignment at some point in the near future as the tires are quite old. The convertible top shows wear from age but does not leak.

The exterior paint presents well but is not perfect -- there are 4 minor dings (about the size of a dime) on the sides of the car and there is very slight hazing on the hood/trunk (hard to see in pictures). There is a scratch on the edge of the front lip likely from a parking curb by a prev owner. The seats and interior show signs of wear but have held up well. Overall, the car looks good for being nearly 20 years old. It's a nice driver's car as it stands or you could invest in PDR/paint correction if you want things to be perfect.

To my knowledge, the IMS bearing has not been replaced and is original to the car/engine. I believe I have priced the car accordingly to reflect that. With that said, when the car was inspected, cam deviations were within spec, and I have seen absolutely no signs of wear during the 3 oil changes during my ownership. The car also does not burn or leak any oil between changes. I personally did not believe there was a need to address the IMS bearing given the mileage of the car, the facts previously mentioned, and my personal risk tolerance based on the research I've done on the issue. If it would help ease your peace of mind, I'd be happy to have an oil sample analysis done at your cost if requested.

Nope, someone from Facebook Marketplace. I actually didn't get any inquiries about the car from this forum, maybe it just wasn't up here long enough. I would have preferred to sell to a forum member since I received so much helpful information from this forum in maintaining my 986!
