04 Boxster S - Upstate NY
Hey guys,

Asking price $8,500 http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1558439926.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1558439961.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1558439993.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1558440013.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1558440046.jpg |
What a sweet deal! I'd jump on it if I didn't have two already!

Wow! I think you're under-priced, but I'm sure tempted to sell mine and grab yours!
How's the paint? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk |
Nice looking car at a very reasonable price!
A friend in ATL was looking, I'll forward this to him. Questions: Does the climate control work fine? ( Looks like the HVAC display has bit the dust. ) What is going on by the gas cap? Wonky reflection or actual damage? Does it have PSM? |
Beautiful car, and I love that natural brown interior. I think you are selling it a bit too low, but good luck and enjoy the Cayman.

Thanks guys.
Yes it does have PSM, and climate control is working 100%. There is a half palm sized dent in front right side panel. I brought it to a shop and they said $500 to repair. I haven't been watching prices of Boxsters in a few years - What would be a reasonable asking price for my car? |

As I look more closely now, it appears there may also be a dent in the right-side rocker-panel, right behind the door? As for the value: it depends on how much time you've got, I guess. But if it were mine, I'd pay that $500 to have that body panel fixed, and then list it for $10,500. I would expect it to sell at that. (presuming no problems we aren't seeing) Unless I come to you first.... in which case, I'll ask you to honor the first price.... haha. Beautiful car. |
Before I read Maytag's post, that's exactly what I was thinking. Repair the dent(s) and go $10,500.
It's hard to see for sure in the pics given reflections and shading. Are there dents in the door and just forward of the fuel filler? Paint damage by the filler? I'm not in the market. Beautiful car and just curious. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1558481559.jpg |
This post is a scam, I just talked to the real owner of car.

Nice... I really like the look of the natural brown with the Lapis.

That's GREAT! This is the first I've seen with that interior! With the body damage, they needed the right buyer to get what you paid for it, but I would've paid that too, simply for that color-combo. Well done. Go get that damage repaired and you;ve got a REAL LOOKER there! |
04 Box S
Is this car still for sale? Is there a local Porsche specialist close by to do a PPI? Please advise

The car is almost perfect now, still a couple scratches on trunk lid... Repaint of front bumper and passenger side after damage repair. $500 my ass to fake seller, it was over 3K but rocker panel...repaired properly and I'm very happy and planned on 3K. Paint match was spot on.
Love it, worth every penny. Pete |
