AC stopped working
 

I had my '01 baseoil changed (reputable people) and when I left I found that the AC switch didn't work and neither did the fan(it showed the gradient but no air). I checked the AC fuse and-no problem. Went in good and came out bad. Thoughts? TIA

try jiggling ignition key a bit... (obviously when it is in the ignition and running)

any other odd gremlins of late like:

• radio staying after key removed
• key hard to turn
• key not "clunking" when removed

What's your asking price?

Agree that ignition switch may be the culprit. I purchased a project 98 base car years ago and the owner told me the AC blew cold sometimes and sometimes it didn't work. Same with aftermarket radio.

Both were resolved with a $15 ignition switch.
