Boxster wind deflector storage pouch
 

I require the storage pouch for the wind deflector from my 99 Boxster. You can no longer purchase this item from Porsche as a seperate item. It is a black cloth style pouch. Willing to pay decent price.

you mean the cloth pouch that is the same size as the wind deflector? Or the vinyl storage bag that goes in the back behind the roll bars?

Just the cloth storage pouch thats the same size as the deflector.

Thanks for the link. I put a bid in on it. I talked the fellow into shipping to Canada if I win it. By the way, I saw one of those large vinyl storage bags for sale. Where exactly do you put those things? They look rather large.

I just wrap mine in a good cotton towel and stick it in the trunk.

The vinyl storage bags goes behind your head on that shelf. Its just a storage bag. I don't use mine much at all, in fact, its not even locked down to the back there.

I didn't pay much for it though, so its not a great loss that I don't use it much. Thinking about selling it. I saw one go for like 120 recently.

Good luck with the windstop bag. My windstop seems to always be in between the roll bars. Its just too much wind without it there.

That is a crazy price on ebay and it is not the factory cover for the clear plastic windstop.

The factory one is made out of black cloth like a bed sheet. 50 cents of material. There is no velcro on the newer car for the flap in that place on the ebay picture.

This is mine on my 1997. Looks like new since it has never been used. Cheap Porsceh got rid of the velcro in the subsequent years.

Yeah, mine is just like a cotton cloth bag. I'd say just make one :) It can't be that hard, besides, when are you actually going to use the bag?

yep...your probably right. The prices seem a bit much. I just saw that Pelican Parts sells the factory cloth bag like the one ToolPants posted the picture of for 60 bucks.

Wow, 60 bucks is ridiculous! Even 20 bucks seems excessive to me. Well, good luck with it.
