2001 boxster S Chicago 11.5K

Up for sale is our 2001 Boxster S 986. I bought the car in southern IL in 2015 and have babied it my entire ownership. Its always been garage stored and never driven in snow/salt and very rarely in the rain. No rust or any body damage whatsoever. This is the S version with a 3.4L 250hp engine (very healthy) and 6spd manual transmission. Boxster transmissions are virtually identical to the 996/911 transmission so they tend to suffer from the second gear pop out. This transmission has a Gbox 2nd gear detent installed as preventative maintenance to ensure this does not happen. We've taken this car on multiple road trips and it never gave us any issues, never left us stranded. I'm very OCD on maintenance so here's a breakdown on whats been done to the car in my ownership (last 3 years):

Asking price is $11.5K
located in Chicago

Engine:
93K miles on car
LN IMS bearing (dual row) it did not need the RMS
New LUK clutch kit and new flywheel
Gbox 2nd gear detent (smooth shifting transmission)
New spark plugs
New coilpacks (replaced 2 months ago)
New factory water pump and thermostat
Replaced bottom chain tensioners (no rattle on start up)
Top Gear exhaust (removes secondary cats, no CEL)

Suspension:
H&R RSS coilovers corner balanced (these are the properly valved version, not the basic H&R kit)
Front control arms replaced
New top hat bushings (factory rubber) no noise over bumps
New transmission mount (Function first)
New engine mounts (function first)
Rear control arm bushings replaced (factory rubber)
Recent alignment

I'm sure there are other maintenance items that I'm forgetting but this thing needs nothing. Can be picked up today and driven across the country. Oil change done every 3-4K miles with Joe Gibbs DT40 (recommended oil for the M96 engines). Transmission fluid recently changed with Factory Porsche fluid. I installed an aftermarket radio to replace old worn Porsche unit (blue tooth works).
Only 2 issues with the car right now is the slightly peeling material on the dash (car spent most of its life in the south so the sun got to it). Also, I just broke the turn signal stalk mechanism so it wont hold in place. Turn signals still work, you just have to hold it in place. This is a $150 dollar fix, but in the interest of full disclosure, I'm listing it.
I'm asking $11.5K for the car, but willing to entertain reasonable offers. Reason for selling is I'd like to get into a new project. I can do a walk around video if you're not local or gladly take you to see the car (located in lakeview). Have all the receipts for all the work listed above, everything was done locally at a shop in West Suburbs

have many more pics of the car
