Driving it today and the CEL just came on..a P0420 code. Due to new Secondary Air Pump? Or O2 sensors?

Both are issues are are easy fixes. Get yourself a good secondary air pump from Woody and save yourself a bundle.

My SAP is only a month old.

Looking at an 08 MB e350 with the AMG sport package as a backup car..if the PPI works out might keep both LOL.

Ok, we are not letting you off that easy.

Please tell us why you decided to keep your black beauty?

SteelStroke 05-05-2017 11:31 PM

Because I have spent almost 10K getting it up to shape. She runs perfect. She brings a smile to my face when driving her.

Still owe a bit before she is mine (By the end of the year she will be).

Did NOT want two car payments (Although I could afford it).

My 15yo son wants Dad to pass it on to him next year LOL.

p.s. spent 6 months in Tampa with Special Operations Command Central. Loved it.

That's awesome your keeping it and passing it along to your son. I was going to say, you've spent so much getting it up to your standards. People don't spend that kind of money and labor if they don't love the car.

Thanks for your service. Yes, been to McDill many times entertaining (I'm a musician) the command and the refueling air wing stationed there. I love the golf course and the sunsets!

His mother will not like paying the insurance for it..but that is her problem...but she can afford it..

My son is going for glider lessons tomorrow, wants to get into the Air Force Academy..then join NASA as an astronaut. Can you say proud father?
