2000 Speed Yellow Boxster S for sale in VA. must go ASAP

2000 Porsche Boxster "S" Reduced! $8k Need to sell ASAP, make an offer

Lots of changes in my life right now and I need to sell this car as soon as possible.
143k miles, S model, clean oil. Not gonna win any beauty contests.
Needs a new back window (unless you only drive it when its sunny, that's what I've been doing).

I will let this car go for 6500 firm on this site. This is a great value semi-project car.

any questions please send an email to rawleyndillon@hotmail.com

Thanks for looking :)

Nice car! Good Luck!

That seems like a decent deal.

Best of luck with your sale but just to give you a data point,
I have a 2000S with 129K miles with good top (glass window) and working AC. Not perfect but certainly in decent shape with no issues or needs. I've had it on CL starting back in early Nov. for $8,400 with no serious lookers.

$6,500 is not a bad deal for someone but if after a top and (potentially) A/C work, its still a little bit scary.

Just one persons opinion and I hope you get it sold!

If you'll accept $6,500 CAD (haha, I know) I'll drive down there in mid-February and pick it up.

at this price you might be better to part it out. I expect you should be able to get about $3000 for a running S motor with unknown miles A buyer would likely change the IMS bearing on the shop floor and reinstall it in a roller. The trans should be worth about a grand. Wheels tires another few hundred, S brakes add about $500.
not much left to sell to meet your price. I was faced with a similar situation about 10 years ago when the air cooled market was at its lowest .
If I hadn,t just bought a 2001 I,d be interested.

That takes time...I'm guessing the asap nature of the sale means he needs the car gone.

My offer is serious at $6500CAD... which is $4500USD.

If you want to work out a deal and get it out of your space sooner, we can talk on the phone. PM me if so.

thanks for the comments. I would like it to go in one piece, it's still a running Boxster S with clean title.

I understand the condition of the car is not ideal, and will accept reasonable offers reflecting it's condition. Worst I can do is say no.

Thanks for looking.

Is this still for sale? Do you have a recent post on CL,, that link is expired or can you add some pics. I might be interested in this car for my son. Would u know if the IMS has been replaced? I noticed in one of your posts you had a RMS leak, did this get addressed? Original clutch? What is the condition of interior, and paint? Are you flexible on the 6.5k?

Regards,
John
