2002 Boxter S Value

I want to sell my 2002 Boxter S and would like some advice/opinions on a fair asking price. Some information: 6 M/T, Black/Black, upgraded Porsche wheels (bbs), 54,000miles. Approximately 18 months and 6,000 miles ago the following work was done at Callas Rennsport in Torrance, CA. Some other work was also done and I spent over $10,000.
-LNE IMS retrofit (no prior problems, just wanted peace of mind)
-LNE upgrade oil filter adaptor
-Rear main and crankshaft seal
-Timing chain tensioner
-Water pump
-Timing belt
-Flywheel
-Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, all four/alignment
Runs and looks excellent always garaged.
This is my first Porsche and am not sure of the value of the recent repairs. Any opinions on a fair asking price? Would really appreciate some thoughts!

Thanks!

With the work you have done someone in the know is going to be more interested in the car. LA market has alot of competition in the used Porsche market and the prices from what I can tell have been weak. With the age and mileage as a buyer I'd want to get the 60k service done and would factor that into what I'd be willing to pay. $10k is alot to spend even for a Porsche so I suspect you may have a 60k service done plus other work. Depending on the overall condition and how fast you want to sell it a fair asking price IMO would be between $13.5k and and $16k. Proably not what you want to hear and I don't blame you.

Porsche9,
Thanks for your reply. Yes really not the price range I wanted to hear, but maybe all the market will allow now. Such a great car to drive, I will probably just hold on to it for now. Thanks again!

I dont know if it helps you to assess, but I bought my 2004 Boxster Base w/ 47,000 miles from Pacific Porsche in Torrance for 16k about 2 months ago. It had new Pirellis on it, with alot of extras (18" carreras, upgraded steering wheel, yellow calipers) and was flawless inside and out.

Im very happy with the car and its my first porsche. I opted for a extended warranty, as I do not want to worry about IMS, etc with this car.

you will pay a premium when buying from a dealer, usually $2-5k

I needed to finance some of the car and trusted the dealer to inspect and actually fix issues with the car before selling it. Find me an 04 with 50k for less than 16 in socal. I couldnt find one.

They also gave me a fair deal on my trade in 16,500 - its still for sale if you want to buy it: https://pacific.porschedealer.com/preowned/Chevrolet/Corvette+Z06/2003/Quicksilver+Metallic/1257014/info.php

They were initally asking 22 for it lol. Its been on their lot for 2 months now.
