Hi Bill, I have a 1998 Boxster that has no compression in one cylinder, I am debating if I want to fix it or just sell it as is. Let me know if that's close to what you want. Thanks,

I have an '03 with 67k, LN IMS, LN extended sump, 6speed. New tires, MY02 rims, alcantara inserts in seats. Black/tan. Very nice driver prior to probable main bearing issue. With good engine, I feel this is a $14,500 car. Drive train was perfect--gearbox, clutch, top actuation, suspension. A/C, cruise, stereo, all good. Just was dialed in for some track work when lost power. In shop now. Let me know.

Can you use a salvage title vehicle for your project? This 2001 S had front end damage to the radiators that did NOT get to the unibody subframe. Airbags were NOT deployed. The front bumper cover is gone, I have most of the radiator replacement parts. The driver fender is creased, driver headlight broken, and windshield is broken. I bought it to use the engine in another S. So, it will come with engine removed, 6 speed trany included.

I will look into using a salvage title car. I would be bringing it across the border so may be an issue. Can you send me some pictures? (bjecks@autowestbmw.com)How much would you be looking for? What was the mileage on the car?

thanks,

Bill

I have an 03 motor that lost a rod bearing. Let me know if interested. I'm looking for a replacement engine. The engine I have has the LN IMS.
