That is certainly a very impressive vehicle - tasteful upgrades, clean and well-maintained vehicle with all records. Rare find! Should be snatched up in no time, summer is right around the corner.
Curious - Do you know if it is still on its original IMS?

GLWS!

Thanks!
Yes, it is still on its original IMS. I've talk to few reputable Porsche mechanic and they all agree the early cars with double row bearing is more reliable compare to the later single row bearings. I also keep an eye at oil change for any metal pieces in the oil, so far I haven't notice anything unusual, therefore I didn't find the need of replace IMS on the car.

The most GORGEOUS set of rims I have ever seen on a Box(my .02 cents). Looks like I've got my next "need to-do" after I get my bumper and skirts painted.. free bump for you

I may be relocating from Texas to the California area pretty soon, If it's still on the market at the time I would definitely be hard pressed not to pounce.

In the meantime, do you mind telling me what kind of wheels those are? As all_mota said, those are the most gorgeous wheels I've ever seen on a 986! (I might have missed the name in the post, I re-read about three times so forgive me.) Thank you.

Just want to say this is a super honest car, well sorted and upgraded/maintained by a real enthusiast. I came very close to pulling the trigger but the wife is now whispering that she'd be happier if I found a tip so this one is off the list (at least for now) but if you are considering a 2.5 driver this one should be at the top of your list.

It is a beautiful well maintained car with nice mods.

Has not sold in 4 months???

Why are you having trouble selling the car, mileage?

From what I see water cooled Porsche market has always been weaker, I saw a well maint nicely modded Boxster S with 20k miles posted on PCA around same time as I listed mine and it still haven't sold. The parts (GT3 seats, Kinesis wheels, suspensions mods) on that S easily worth half of its asking price if not more. Compare to air cooled market a fair priced car get 50 emails and sold within few hours...ask me how I know.

Price reduction to $5900 firm, will be busy next few months and want to get it sold and move on. Really would like my car to stay in the community and go to an enthusiast.

clean looking car and bump for the ROW M030 alone :)

martsink 10-20-2015 06:11 AM

That's a great deal! Had my friend not bought a Miata a few months ago, I'd definitely tell him to pick this up

stuttgart1 11-19-2015 09:50 AM

Bump, still available.

martsink 11-19-2015 08:52 PM

This car is worth every penny. The mods alone are worth half the asking price. GLWS
