2000 Porsche Boxster S (w/o engine) for sale - $6,000 OBO

I'm asking $6,000 or best offer.

A 3.2L Boxster with a blown engine at around 100,000 miles from overheating, email for details. The body is in average shape with normal wear and tear, so this is a great opportunity for a 3.4L swap or 3.8L conversion. Can't afford a rebuilt engine, but would like to see my baby go to a good home. No track miles. Best offer, no low ballers please I've invested $20,000 into this car. Yep, another 2000 model. Bet it has intermix from a cracked head.

This engine can be repaired without a full reconstruction being necessary, we just finished two this week.

Yes, he's in Missouri somewhere. I've seen it posted to the St. Louis Craigslist.

The issue I see, is that at 100,000 miles, I've seen 97-00 model boxsters with similar miles selling for $6,500-7,000. Knowing this car needs a major engine overhaul just to be usable, a more fair price point is likely around $3,000 or part it out. And personally, I'd have an issue giving $3k for a car with both known and unknown issues.
