1999 Porsche Boxster - Hardtop, 5MT, 104k, $8700 - Reno, NV

1999 Porsche Boxster
5 speed
Under 104k miles
Hard top
Good to great mechanical shape
Fair to good interior/exterior
Never tracked, never raced. Not babied, but not abused either
Located in Reno, NV

Modifications:
* Factory hard top painted to match the car
* Short shift kit
* Boxster S rear sway bar
* MP3 CD player
* Porsche trip computer
* K&N air filter

Maintenance/Repairs:
Water Pump: Replaced 1/2012
V-Belt: Replaced 1/2012
Air/Oil Separator: Replaced 5/2011
Rear Main Seal: Replaced by previous owner, but I have no paperwork to prove it
Tires: Rear 99%+ tread left, front tires 90%+ tread. Summer tires, so avoid rain/ice/snow.
Brakes: ~16k miles left
Convertible soft top: Original. No leaks or tears but window is plastic and has lost transparency. Relay, top microswitch, and brake microswitch replaced 9/2011.
Engine Oil: Porsche approved full synthetic Mobil 1 5W-40 replaced every 5k
Transmission Oil: Replaced with Redline 75W-90 on 5/2011
Spark plugs and spark plug seals: Replaced 12/2010
Four Wheel Alignment: Last performed 9/2012
Airbag Retaining Frame (the drive over a bump and hear a "honk" problem) - Replaced 9/2012
Lights: All rear bulbs replaced 7/2012. Front passenger headlight replaced 1/2013.
Fuel Cap: Replaced 12/2012

Selling because I bought a 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera and my wife won't let me keep both.
Test drives with cash in hand or proof of the ability to pay for the car.
Pre-purchase inspections welcome at a professional shop in Reno-Sparks.
No trades.
Asking $8700, or $7700 without the hard top. I will not sell the hard top without selling the car.

Weather was nice enough this weekend to take the hardtop off.

and just to show you how good of deal this Boxster is (well, and for a good laugh):

see? $200 more and you get a real Porsche with less miles and a hardtop instead of a "Boxter" lookalike.
