2001 Ocean Blue boxter
 

Hello All,

I have a 2001 986 up for sale. Ocean Blue boxtser with gray leather interior

I bought the car at rusnak Porsche in Pasadena.

The good:
Super clean 9/10
the interior has no rip or stains
the paint is show room (front bumper is 8/10 but the car is 10/10)
5 speed
over all super clean

the bad:

the car starts and runs but makes noise like a bad bearing or something, the dealer said it has something to do with the timing chain.

I spoke to motor mister here in California, they said most 986 have IMS bearing failures, and said the repair starts at 2200 to repair or 5k and they will rebuild the whole engine.

I bought the car because it was a good deal, I just got a BMW 645ci for my daily and would like to just make back what I bought it for.
