You got a +36 hp gain between an ECU and muffler upgrade? Is that verified on a dyno?

HP question
not sure why you think it's +36 HP, the (2.7) starts out at 218 hp, are you thinking the base HP is lower 210? (add +26 ecu tune and muffler) and it's in the neighborhood of 244 correct? almost forgot I added the underdrive pulley for another 5hp? maybe I should have popsted 250?
I posted a link to the muffler and ECU tune on FVD's page, I believe they are legit. http://www.fvd.de/us/en/Porsche-0/Boxster_986-13-41/-/-/item/item_details/VID_16625844-VCD_36620947-gid_30-sort_4-display_50-item_BES98605000S/EXHAUST-Tuning-Muffler-BES98605000S-Sport-Muffler-%26quot%3BBrombacher%26quot%3B-986-S-Boxster--%28Sound-Version%29%2C-Stainless-Steel%2C-2x90mm.html http://www.fvd.de/us/en/Porsche-0/Boxster_986-13-41/-/-/item/item_details/VID_16625844-VCD_36620947-gid_34-sort_4-display_50-item_FVD98610011/ENGINE-Tuning-TuningKits-FVD98610011-Powerkit-Boxster-2.7L--Level1--%28235HP---207LBF-FT%29.html |
Sorry, I fat fingered the number(iPhone). I meant 26. And I'm not criticizing or starting trouble, just really curious. Is that FVD ECU program good for 15 hp? Is that a realistic figure? Same for the muffler, +11hp?
Your ad says: ****This car's ECU****has been tuned by FVD brombacher to add 15 HP,**** ****the FVD muffler added****+11 hp |
Per rhonda at FVD
the HP/torque gains quoted on FVD's web page are slightly understated, they could be higher but definitely not lower ... I have not put it on a dyno yet but recently I did drive an 04 S anniversary boxster with similar mileage to mine .... I don't know if there was any significant difference in power, low mid or high end.
