You can go to an excelent school in North Carolina (I.e. Chapel Hill) if you are a resident for 5k
I dunno the truth about this, but I have a "buying a porsche" book and it says that sometimes the Finish cars are of higher quality. But as stated before, a Porsche is a Porsche and they go through the same quality checks.
Oh and 1600 kilos is over 3,500 pounds. Boxsters don't weight THAT much. Its closer to 1350 Kilos/2980 lbs.
