2000 Boxster S for sale

I am selling my beloved Boxster S to make room for a 996tt. The car is black with grey interior. 76k miles. 6-speed w/B&M short shift & EVO linkage. Always garaged. Too many upgrades to list. If you are interested, send me an e-mail at steve88t@hotmail.com and I'll give you the run down and send pictures. I would like to get $22,500 for it. This is the funnest car that I have every driven and get comments on it every week.
Thanks,
Steve

Would love to buy this, looks like you have done many of the upgrades I would, but no sense doing it right before I leave for Iraq.... Ah...Timing

Steve would you be willing to part the aftermarket stuff with OEM replacements and $?

funster 11-21-2007 04:05 AM

That sounds like a real deal for someone.

I've had the headers and PSE exhaust listed in the Classified parts section of this forum. The headers are off the car now and it is sure noticeable the decrease in performance. Its funny, most people that have expressed interest in the car could care less about the upgrades but the difference in driving pleasure between my car and a stock S are almost as great as an S versus a base model Boxster. I'd let the headers go for $300 and the PSE for $600. I guess the only other thing I'd dismantle would be the front and rear strut tower braces. They are from Schnell and I'd sell for $200 for the pair.
Thanks.

Boxster is sold.
Thanks.

Back on the market. Second guy to shake hands on a deal then flake out. One due to not checking with his bank first the other not checking with his wife. This one really pissed me off as I had four prospective buyers lined up over the weekend that I had to tell the car was sold.

Sorry to hear about the flakes :( I'd snatch this up if it was springtime and you didn't live on the other side of the country.

nola911 11-26-2007 05:11 PM

Zone, don't be silly. Cars can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. for 700 dollars, you will pay more than 700 for the spring time appreciation in pricing.

Or, do what I did. FLY! A plane ticket is 200 dollars and you can tour the U.S. for another 200 in fuel costs.

That car has the perfect mods and is as classy looking as a boxster will be. I guess I am biased, since I have the same color.

Max, I'm away at school and have no use for a car, especially a RWD roadster in New England winters. Besides, I'd have to sell my Subaru first before I can drop money on a P-car.

Steve, keep your car 'til May for me!

urg!

If it was only up for sale on july...i would have gladly purchased this with cash! :( Bloody hell, I hate timing!
