PCA Club Racing for 986 Boxster S
Hi Folks,
I'm curious if any of you guys here are in PCA Club Racing with a 986 Boxster S? If yes, I'd like to know the following: 1. Do you need a roll cage? (I assume yes.) If yes, which one are you using? 2. Did you need to rip out your entire interior? (I assume yes) 3. Did you need to convert to a bucket seat? (I also assume yes) 4. Which class are you running in? (This is where I am a bit confused. No Boxsters run club racing in my neck of the woods.) My car is modified, so this may complicate things a bit. I'm looking to get into club racing but want to keep the car street'able. I understand this might not be possible. Thanks! |
can't help you, but if you find yourself in need i have a used bolt-in safety devices roll cage that i would sell for small-ish money. and i'm in canada so easier for shipping, etc.

Oh, wow.
Is the roll cage FIA certified? |
this guy, but with a second door bar on each side:

Thanks for that!
I'll need to check with the PCA club to determine whether this works or not. |
